01Age Requirement
Our services are not directed toward anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and if we learn that we have, we will delete it.
02Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Information you provide directly, such as your name and email address when you contact us, create an account, or request access.
- Content you create or upload in the app, such as moderation and support rules, procedures, saved replies, notes, and files.
- Information from platforms you connect, such as comments, direct messages, support conversations, and app reviews — see "Connected Platforms" below.
- Usage and analytics data about how you interact with our website and app.
- Device information, such as browser type, operating system, and IP address.
- Cookie data, where applicable.
03How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve our services.
- Respond to your inquiries and requests.
- Send transactional and service-related communications.
- Analyze usage to understand and improve performance.
- Comply with our legal obligations.
04Connected Platforms
If you connect a channel — for example a Facebook Page or Instagram account, a helpdesk such as Intercom, an email inbox, an app-store developer account, or a billing system — we receive and process data from it in order to provide our support and moderation features. This may include account and page identifiers and access tokens; comments, direct messages, support conversations, and app reviews, together with the public name, profile picture, and language of the people who wrote them; post and ad context for comments; and, where you connect billing, subscription and payment status for your customers.
We process the data of your customers on your behalf and only to operate the features you request — for example to classify and answer messages, hide or delete comments, ban users, issue refunds or cancellations, and show your team the conversation history. We do not sell it or use it for any unrelated purpose. Access tokens and secrets are encrypted at rest and are never shared with our AI providers.
You can disconnect a channel at any time, and you can request deletion of the associated data as described in our Data Deletion policy.
05AI and Automated Processing
Our services use third-party artificial-intelligence providers to read, classify, translate, and draft replies to messages. Depending on the feature you use, we may send message and comment text, attached images, conversation history, and your rules and procedures to these providers so they can return results. These providers are described, by category, under "Service Providers" below.
Messages may contain personal information of the people who wrote them; that content is processed by the relevant AI provider solely to produce the output you request.
We do not send access tokens, passwords, or app secrets to these providers. They process your content on our behalf to deliver the features you use; data-protection and retention terms vary by provider, and we choose providers and configurations to limit any further use of your content.
06How We Share Information
We share information with the service providers described below who help us operate our services, and with the platforms you connect (such as Meta, Intercom, or Apple) to carry out the actions you request. We may also disclose information where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
07Service Providers
We work with third-party service providers that process data on our behalf, under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations. They fall into the following categories:
- Cloud hosting, storage, and compute infrastructure.
- AI providers that read, classify, translate, and draft replies to messages.
- Authentication and account management.
- Background processing, webhooks, and operational tooling.
- Web research and automation that runs on your instruction.
- Payment processing and billing.
- Analytics, logging, and monitoring.
08Data Retention
We keep your account and profile information for as long as your account is active. Connected-platform data, such as conversations, comments, and reviews, is retained while the connection is active.
When you disconnect an integration or close your account, we remove the associated data from our active systems within 30 days and purge it from backups within a further 90 days, unless we are required to retain certain records to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations.
09Security
We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10International Data Transfers
We are headquartered in the UAE, and our service providers are located in the United States and other regions. As a result, your information is processed across different regions, including the United States. Where required for transfers from the EU, UK, or other regions with data-transfer restrictions, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
11Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, obtain a portable copy, or withdraw your consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at legal@quietcadre.com.
12US State-Specific Rights
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, and Virginia residents have additional rights under the VCDPA. We honor these rights where they apply.
